Teuvo Taimioja – Guitarist
NEW ALBUM OUT
Teuvo’s first album is now on Spotify and YouTube.
Classical guitarist Teuvo Taimioja has released his debut album Nova on Pilfink Records. The album features previously unpublished solo guitar works by composers currently based in Finland. The composers represented on the album are Joel Verner, Touko Niemi, Stephen James Webb, Rolf Gustavson, Tara Jovana Valkonen, Pekka Koivisto, Niki Main, and Gaspar Cassadó.
Alongside the album, a series of interview videos has been produced, in which each composer discusses their work and their relationship to the piece featured on the recording. The videos aim to shed light on the compositional process and offer listeners a deeper insight into the background and ideas behind each work. Purchasers of the physical album receive not only the CD itself, but also a unique opportunity to explore the composers’ artistic worlds and personal perspectives.
